Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)
You can't predict a theft or an accident. but with the Harley-Davidson® Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Plan, you can be prepared should one occur. This valuable protection provides an extra measure of security and helps bring certainty to an uncertain world. the GAP Plan pays the difference between the fair market value of your vehicle and the outstanding balance with your lender.
In many cases, Harley-Davidson® motorcycle owners assume their primary cycle insurance coverage will be enough to cover any loss related to their bike. In reality, the actual cash value placed on your motorcycle by the insurance company may be substantially less than the outstanding balance on your loan contract. Can you afford to use money from your own pocket to pay the difference, plus cover your insurance deductible? And what about the cost of buying a new motorcycle?
The GAP Plan allows you to limit your financial obligation in the event of a total loss and move on to a new bike purchase. This optional protection can be included in your loan agreement, providing valuable protection for your investment.

Not only does the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan provide you with additional years of mechanical breakdown coverage beyond your factory warranty, it also provides additional benefits not included in your factory warranty.
- Expense Reimbursement Package - Covers reimbursement for vehicle rentals, travel/lodging, and towing should a covered breakdown occur on the road.
- Tire & Wheel Coverage - Replaces your tires and/or wheels if damaged due to contact with a road hazard.
- Transfer Your Contract for Free - If you decide to sell your motorcycle before your contract expires. transfer it to the next owner and potentially increase the resale value.
We are pleased to inform you that if you have not already done so, you can still take advantage of the protection available with the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan. But act now! Once your factory warranty expires, you won't be able to obtain this coverage at any price.
Harley-Davidson® Debt Protection Plan
Anybody could find themselves out of work at any time. If you were to lose your job due to a layoff, general strike or lockout - or suddenly couldn't work due to an accident - you and your family cold face a financially difficult time.
- Cancels your monthly loan payment for up to 6 months in the event of a qualifying job loss or disabling accident or sickness that keeps you out of work.
- Cancels your eligible loan balance up to $50,000 should you die due to an accident.
